Brewed well and made smooth good tasting coffee. We didn’t find anything not to like about it. I liked the bag having the ability to be kept closed with the attached closure.

This coffee definitely lives up to its statement about being a dark roast because this coffee is strong! We really like arabica coffee so we already knew what to expect but this coffee definitely hits you hard. I think we used a little too much the first time and we dialed it back after that. While it does have a strong kick the coffee is still smooth and has a lot of flavor. We liked that it was all organic and roasted right in the USA. We are trying coffee from all over the world and writing down the locations they were roasted in. It’s nice that we know exactly what state it was roasted in and can mark NY down in our notes

This organic French Roast ground coffee has an intensity rated by the company of four out of five so it is a full-bodied dark roast. I prefer dark roasts but sometimes they can taste muddy—that is not the case with this coffee that has a bright flavor. For brewing I used a simple automatic drip machine with good results.The flavor is bold with a good balance between acidic and bitter notes—just enough of each to add complexity without either overpowering the brewed cup. The 100 percent Arabica beans are roasted in New York City and to estimate shelf-life the Best By date on this bag is 4 months in the future, but dates will vary. Very nice.

I have nothing but great things to say about NuEats French Roast coffee! As soon as I opened the bag I got hit with the aroma of fresh coffee grounds. After brewing I tasted an amazingly rich and tasty coffee. The french roast blend is strong, but not too strong. So if you want something more than medium, but not overly bitter this would be a perfect blend for you. I can honestly drink it black enjoying its smokey flavor without worrying about bitterness and acidity.As for the shipping, it arrived super quick. Will definitely look forward to trying a different blend in the future.

This coffee tastes pretty strong but it doesn’t give me the shakes. I’m not a black coffee drinker but when I add the tiniest of cream, it makes it taste great.Excited to try the other flavors once I run out of the French roast!

I normally use whole bean coffee, as my automatic espresso machine grinds the beans before brewing. However, I occasionally pull out the coffee maker and brew a pot of coffee with grounds. Since I was planning on brewing coffee, I decided to order the NuEats’ all organic 100% Arabica French roast ground coffee.This dark roast coffee is crafted in New York and marketed as the world’s finest coffee at an affordable price. Based on the current price and the pricing of name-brand alternatives, I’d say NuEats accomplished this goal. This French roast is USDA organic and tasty. I used a pour over to brew the coffee. It was bold and smooth without almost any acidity or bitterness. I liked drinking this black. It was also good with cream.

Ah the delicious smell of dark roast that transfers over to flavor, as I pour myself a cuppa from the French Press. Having also tried it in the Pour Over, it’s a bit of a tossup as to which option made for a better cup of coffee. And it ticks all the check boxes in terms of: organic, organic, non-GMO, and even roasted in the US. This consistently makes a great cup of coffee. Very much recommended.

This French Roast Ground Coffee is delicious. I happen to like strong dark coffee and this one works. FR is one of my favorites. This is made with 100% Arabica beans and probably double super-hot roasted to create that distinctive dark brown and oily bean with an intense smoky sweet flavor that qualifies for "French Roast". Also The French Roasted beans are not as acidic, and don't have as much caffeine as regular roasted beans in other coffees. These beans are roasted in New York, and certified with the USDA for the National Organic Standard of QAI (Quality Assurance International). The only thing I'm not sure about is if it's also a Fair Trade Coffee, if that's important. Anyway this brand is very good, and flavorful.

Good coffee. Not the best we've ever tried but good enough.

Product has a nice well-rounded flavor, great for drip-coffee or iced coffee like I used it for. I wouldn't rank this up there in terms of best quality cup of coffee I've ever had, but it is a not smooth mouthfeel, and not too bitter; definitely better than most supermarket ground coffee I've had, but perhaps a level under a nice Italian roast.

Organic, Non-GMO NuEats French Roast coffee has a nice bold smell when the bag is opened. It has that same bold taste when brewed as well. Being roasted in New York City would also keep it somewhat local if it didn't have to travel through the Amazon system (hopefully it doesn't have to go too far). That helps with the truck exhaust that helps keep the carbon footprint down. When brewing coffee I generally add one scoop per cup of water. The coffee brewed up nice and strong, but had a slight muddiness when drinking and a tinge of an aftertaste. Overall though this is a good coffee. Maybe it is because I used a drip coffee maker and not something fancier?

This coffee has a good taste and is strong enough to wake me up in the mornings. It is ground about as fine as the stuff I buy from the grocery store (that is, it's not too coarse or fine) and the taste is pleasant. Too many coffees these days have some oddball flavors to stand out and be unique-- all I want is a nice, traditional cup of coffee in the morning to drink while I watch the news with enough kick to wake me up. This coffee fits that bill.

My only gripe is that the coffee grounds are kinda…very dry. Which makes me assume it is been in the packaging a bit too long. For $12 for 12oz of coffee I’d like a little more aroma of a great French Roast. Make that happen and you get 5 stars.

I'm not the type of guy to write reviews, but I was so surprised by the quality of this coffee that I immediately thought I should come here and say that this is the best coffee I have ever tasted!!!
